🤖 We started with building custom AI solutions for DAX companies

Towards the end of 2017, Timon and Seba decided to return home from Stanford and join forces to build an AI solutions company that should bring the Silicon Valley spirit to corporate Germany.

After one year of intensive AI solution-building and successful projects, the team wanted to have a bigger impact with their very own product, so we started to explore productization opportunities in parallel.

In November 2018, we successfully delivered 30 projects including computer vision applications, natural language processing solutions, and time-series analyses to over a dozen DAX corporations.

<aside> 💡 In 2020, after weeks of various industry explorations, we kicked off our transition away from boutique AI solutions towards a product-oriented company.

⚡ Luminovo goes electronics

<aside> 🔌 A very impactful AI project with Germany’s largest semiconductor manufacturer Infineon eventually led us to our focus on the electronics industry.

Today, we are enabling and automating collaboration in the electronics supply chain.

Our software has touched one million electronic products by 2025.

So far, 200+ active customers and 40+ product partners globally are working with us towards the same goal. Backed by top-tier investors Cherry Ventures and General Catalyst/LaFamiglia, Chalfen Ventures, and others, we have raised more than €20 million.
