Our operating principles tell you what we believe. This page tells you what we do.
What a week at Luminovo actually looks like, how decisions get made, and how we work with each other day to day. Read it and you should be able to picture your Tuesday.

We are a remote-first company with two offices: Munich and New York City. Both are open to every Luminerd, always, and both are stocked with drinks, snacks, and other treats. Flights and accommodation for work trips are expensed.
How far you can roam depends on the team you join. If you are hired into a European role, you can work from anywhere within two hours of Central European Time. If you are joining our North America team, you work with New York as your anchor instead.
Remote-first shapes more than where you sit. It is why we write things down, why our weekly company meeting is built around reading rather than presenting, and why we bring the whole company together in person once a year.
Notion is where Luminovo's thinking lives: team pages, project docs, meeting notes, and the handbook you are reading right now.
The clearest example is our weekly company meeting. Seba and Timon, our founders, open with any company announcements. Then we spend around twenty minutes in reading mode: everyone reads the other teams' pages and leaves comments, questions, and the occasional shoutout. After that we go around for anything that needs a human voice.

If a team has something to add beyond what they already wrote, they say so. Otherwise, we assume that the written information is capturing already their inteded message.

Every recurring page has one DRI, a directly responsible individual. You will hear that term a lot.

One honest note: we grow quickly, and some of what is written down goes out of date. If you find something stale, fixing it is welcome from your first week.
